Hayley Orrantia, an American actor, singer and songwriter. People are most familiar with the character as Erica Goldberg in the comedy television show 'The Goldbergs'. She is, however, musician. She says that music has always been her first love. By the time she turned 12, music became serious enough for her to pursue a career in music. At 13, she began writing songs. The first time she recorded an album in the age of 14. Since then, she has not looked back. Orrantia is a native of America but with Hispanic ancestry. She's proud of her existence of Hispanic origins, although she was raised in English exclusively and has never lived in Mexico. In order to preserve her heritage she's enrolled in Spanish. Additionally, she creates songs based on the language. "Hasta Verte," a track that she wrote in Spanish is one such attempt. Orrantia was a contestant on The X Factor in 2011. Orrantia took home the very first season of The X-Factor after she submitted a YouTube performance video. The judge gave her four "yes" votes by the judge on the live stage in Seattle. She was originally a solo performer, but following "Hollywood Week", three other female performers were placed in groups to take part in the auditions. The group was removed from the show in the fifth live week.
