Hayley Orrantia, an American actress, singer and music producer. Most people recognise the character as Erica Goldberg in the comedy television show 'The Goldbergs'. She considers herself to be a musician first and foremost. Music, according her, is the first thing she is passionate about. Her first time playing it when she was nine years old. At the age of 12 the world of music had become important enough to start training professionally. When she was 13 when she began writing her own music. The album that she first released didn't come out until 14 years later. It has been non-stop since then. Orrantia is of Hispanic roots, however she was born in the USA. Though she's never was a Spanish speaker in Mexico She is extremely proud of her Hispanic culture. In order to preserve her heritage, she is learning Spanish. Also, she writes songs that incorporate the Spanish language. A song she has created is called 'Hasta Verte,' which was recorded by her in Spanish. Orrantia participated in The X Factor season 1's auditions throughout the summer of 2011. The Orrantia's YouTube video was picked and she was awarded four "yeses", or votes, from the judges at the Seattle audition. At first, she auditioned as a soloist, she along with three female vocalists were placed together for the remaining auditions in "Hollywood Week". Live shows were staged during the week of 5th.
