Sara Ramirez

Sara Ramirez has been a Mexican American actress, singer, and songwriter for many years. Her mother raised her in the USA and she was subject to numerous racial slurs that made her feel like a non-person. When she attended a 9th grade school audition where she received praises for her voice, she started to build confidence. This not only increased her confidence, but also her goals transformed. Following that she was cast in the role of the character Dr. Callie Torres in ABC's Grey's Anatomy. This led to her gain more fame. She is known as a performer and also released a single and an extended show. In addition, she is a LGBT activist.
